Presidents Scholarship

 

Recent Winners

The fourth annual Startel National Users Group (SNUG) President’s Scholarships were announced by Committee Chair Beth Cooper.  This scholarship fund was initiated by SNUG past-presidents and receives ongoing funding through the education committee to award financial aid to employees of SNUG members attending a school of higher education. 

The most recent awardees are:

    Megan Parrott, AnswerQuick, Louisville TN

    David Arthur of Consolidated, Matton, IL 

    Becca Lillivold of Nationwide, Freeport, IL 

Team SNUG is a proactive group of industry leaders working together to offer educational services to the industry as well as platform specific training to users of the Startel Platform. 

Program Details

SNUG will award a scholarship to 3 current employees of SNUG member companies who will be working and attending higher education during the 2007-2008 school year. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the institution after the following quarter/semester finals.

 

  • First Prize: $1250.00

  • Runner Up: $1000.00

  • Honorable Mention: $750.00

To qualify for the scholarship, the candidate must:

-Be accepted at a 4-yr college, a 2-yr junior college, or a recognized 2-yr trade institution.

-Maintain a 2.5 or higher grade point average.

-Have been employed by the member company for 1 year prior to application.

-Must have SNUG member owner/manager approval to apply.

-Must have a record of good citizenship in school, community, and employment.

How to Participate

All candidates are asked to complete the application by answering all of the questions and attaching the required information. Please be certain that all attachments are clearly labeled with your name. Return the completed application via fax to 517-841-1672
